i cant seem to remove the shroud so i can get to the key cylinder
I cant seem to remove the plastic thingy that wraps around your key
im also looking for the ignition wire to hook up the by-pass (the install manual said usually BLACK/ white or blue)(not the heavy gauge ignition wire)
Any tip? im using the N555P

When you have the bottom part of the shroud off, look up at the bottom of the key cylinder, there is a release button (little metal tip). I believe the key has to be forward when you press in on the button and the entire cylinder key and all will come out.

Good Luck.

I usually remove the key cylinder before I even start taking off the plastic shroud.Look up from underneath up at the plastic shroud you will see a small hole near the key cylinder area.If you can see up through this hole you will see a small check ball you have to press with the key in the on position. When you press this ball it will release the ignition tumbler from the column. You can then take off the plastic shroud with ease after you have taken out the screws which are also acessed from underneath.
