ok i had my dei valet 2way alarm/rs in the truck for almost 2 years and it was fine then recently when it started to get cold sometimes the remote wouldnt work right away. but now it wont respond at all to the remote i had to put it in valet. the alarm still set its self and locks the doors and goes off i fdoors are open but wont respond to any of the remotes. someone had told me to unplug the antenna and leave it for a while i did this but after a few hours or day or so it does the same thing. can the antenna have gone bad. i had gotten in to an accident and the windshild was broken and the problem happend about a few months after
anyone have an idea of what it can be or what i can do. i hate not having the R/S when its cold out
lol
thanks

If there's problems with comminication on any two way system, it's most likely to be in the antenna and remote control. Is there anyway you can try another antenna and different remote control to see if this will fix the problem without buying those parts ?

Any DEI authorized shop should be able to get you one. If not give me a buzz and I'll see what I can do for you.

Hi  If your batery is removed or something other batery lose a power your alarm is reset and the remote didn't work

You are must a programing yor remote it's usualy  work. If  you are have a instrucion manual of your alarm you can find how you can do that(look in "Transsmiter Programing")

If you don't have a manual send me a model of your alarm and I will try to help you .
