your starter circuit is open if alarm had starter kill installed when you removed alarm you must reconnect  starter wires should have went to starter kill relay

That's exactly what they're saying.  The wires were cut when the alarm was originally installed.

I didn't have access to a soldering gun to solder the starter wires together so I made a jumper cable but still no luck.  Maybe something to do w/ factory alarm?

plug in the XCRS relay pack... does the car start now?  then you need to leave it connected or else resolder the starter wire which was spliced in order to facilitate the starter kill option during the original install.....

the vechicle has 2 starter wires the main and  cold start the main should be BLACK/ red BLACK/ white the 2nd is BLACK/ blue stripe if the starter does not engage at all the problem is with main starter wire if it turns but does not start i would check 2nd starter wire make sure main starter wire has been reconnected after you remove alarm
