I just installed a viper 1000 in a 01 s-10 and the siren chrips once when the key is turned off. Is this a new feature or did i forget somthing on the install? If this is a new feature is there anyway to turn it off?

i guess i will answer my post, on that s-10 when connecting the parking light wire @ the bcm you must diode isolate the connection, or the parking light wire will back feed into the alarm brain causing it to chrip when the ign. is turned off.
