How do i get my remote apart to replace the case? I have a python lcd 2 way remote i want to change to a viper case. Is this possible?

Remove the battery cover and you'll see a small philips screw near the top of the remote. Use a precision screwdriver so that you don't strip it and remove the screw. Gently pull that end apart and the other end will release.

ok- now can i take the python remote case and use its internals on a viper case? are they the same inside?

Yup, as long as they are both the newer style remotes they are identical inside.
