I am Installing a Rattler model 300 into a Mercedes Benz 190 with vacuum locks I wired in the 2 relays as the diagram shows however, my neg pulse from the alrm is to short, only about 1/2 a second long, I need at least a 2 second pulse, Do you know of a timer/relay that I could use to turn a 1/2 second pulse, into a 2 sec plus trigger? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thx in advance. Michael

Have a look at the PAC TR7, it may be able to do what you need.

You can use a pulse timer. DEI makes one, I think it is a 528t. It has a set screw that you can turn to adjust the output time of the pulse.

I just tried to pull up the owner's manual for your alarm, but it wouldn't, so I checked the Viper 300, which is very similiar, and there is an adjustment in the programming to change from 0.8 second pulse to 3.5 second pulse, if your alarm has this, it will be much easier, just a couple pushes of the valet swich.

If it turns out it isn't programmable and the commercial options don't work out, you can roll your own, so to speak.
Depends on how much you're willing to tinker-

You can increase the pulse to 3.5sec on that unit, it's feature #5 .

Any chance you can tell me more about feature #5? The customer I am installing this alarm for has lost the manual so I am flying blind on this one, why it had to be a freaking mercedes is beyond me. Pulling my hair out on this one. Thx
