Hello,

To make a long story short... I am tweeking the screwed up job our local body shop did on my alarm, and i'm stuck on soemthing that isnt critical but kinda annoying...

I have a 1992 Dodge Dakota with a Mannix Security system... The alarm is wired to the door pin so the door will lock when the brake is applied AFTER the door has been opened and closed again....

Ok, so it does the same thing when I use the interior light ... it's making the system think the door has been opened since the door pin goes to the interior light... is there anyone I can stop it from doing this when I only use the interior light? I dont know if I am supposed to have it on negative or positive door triggering or WHAT...

Thanks,
-Jason

You should be able to diode isolate the alarm from the domelight, just make sure you use diodes big enough to handle the current of the dome light (which shouldn't be hard to do).
