Hi everybody ,I installed my prestige aps 997 everything works except I cannot find any where in the manuals what buttons or combinations of buttons to push to use channels # 4 thru #7,channnel # 3 is clearly stated to be the trunk released, but thats is as far as it goes in the installation manual. The user manuals just says to mark down the combination of buttons to operate each additional channel and that is it. I hope somebody in the forum has the knowledge and is familiar with the audiovox pretige lines. Thanks for Your time. :errr:

Channel four is your option button. As for the rest I've never seen it in the manual either, but you can program them to which ever button combination you would like. Turn on ignition, press the valet 3 times, horn honks once, press lock, press valet-horn honks twice press unlock, press valet-horn honks three times press key button, press valet-horn honks four times press option, press valet-horn honks five times, press combination of buttons for channel five, and so on for channel 6 and 7.

You have to program channels 4 through 7. Just follow doibuy instructions. Also remember to do it for both remotes.

Most Alarms or remote car starters are either 3 or 4 channels .Your keychain transmitter can handle up to 7 channels. These extra channels on your transmitters can be used to control another vehicle. For example you have another member of your family with a Audiovox remote starter in their vehicle. You can program the extra channels on your transmitter to work the other vehicles remote car starter.
