Hey, I was hoping that maybe someone might be able to help me. I have a 1996 chevy tahoe 2 door w/ keyless entry, I'm new to car alarm installs and decided to give it a shot, Well I've finally made it, However my dor locks. Oh and the alarm is a cyclone C-300 so I have no idea about this alarm only that it was new out of the box. The problem is this there's a GREEN/ blue/red wire from the alarm green(lock) Blue (unlock) red dc 12v problem is when I hook these up to the relay or the wires to the relay A the alarm won't unlock or lock the vehicle, And the keyless won't work..What am I doing wrong? And one last question before I finish the remote start feature Starter Ignition 1 and ignition 2 do all three need to be connected or just starter and ignition 2...I'd appreciate any feedback thanks..mike

Both ignitions must be hooked up for remote start. Have you tested the wire your hooking up to for the keyless, and they trigger 12 volts when you use the switch on the door panel? If so then test the alarm out puts make sure they are putting out voltage when you depress unlock button/lock button once that confirmed it should be just a matter of hooking them up. I believe you can grab the keyless up above the gas pedal in that one..Let me know if this helps you out.

Ok, I've tested the wires and everything is normal...The question I guess I have now is the proper place to hook up the wires, I found the little black box for the factory keyless two seperate harnesses run out of the box, One with the white and light blue wires I need, The question is this can I tap into those wires or have to cut them and wire directly to the alarm? Or beside that is the relay for for the locks, Do I connect it there? And if you know the instructions call for me to also find a DC12V connection with these locks, Is that on one of these harnesses or elsewhere? And thanks for the help on the remote start got that going and I'm all done, With the exception of my locks...Thanks for your help..Mike

I am not familiar with that alarm but if you found the white and blue wires and tested them for confirmation you can just attach the alarm keyless wire to them. I wouldn't cu them as it will disable your doorlock controls on the door panel. From most harness's I have seen there is a blue then red then green? generally this red is for adding relays. If the blue and green wires have a postive pulses when alarm is disamed or armed you wil not need to hook that wire but like I said I'm not familiar with this model, so if anybody else is???
