I recently installed a clarion sr 6000 in my 99 4 door yukon. My remote start works most of the time, but not always. I think that may be a coverage issue. When it does start sometimes the security light on my dash comes on, but not always. I used the DEI passlock bypass 556lw.
Also with the door locks I have them working all with one pulse of the unlock. What do I need to do to have one pulse drivers door and two pulses all other doors. Last question does the yukon have the ability to "pop" the rear cargo door? its not the tailgate style, but the doors.
thanks for the help

If the security light comes on then there's a problem with the Passlock bypass. Check the ground of the system and also the ground of the Passlock module to ensure that you have a good solid ground for both systems.

You need to be able to have priority door unlocking from the RS unit that your installing. There will be a 1st unlock trigger and then a ALL unlock trigger. You will need to wire in the door lock motor for the driver's side and wire in a relay with a 5 wire ( Type C ) configuration. If you do not have the designated priority unlocking wire on the unit, then you won't be able to do this.

There is a black or BLACK/ WHITE wire in the driver's kick panel that goes to the back of the car that you need to find and add a relay to. The wire requires you to hook up as a 5 wire ( Type C ) configuration.

The unit does have the capability for priority unlock. When I wired up the lock/unlock at the drivers kick panel it was a two wire system. I think what you're telling me is that I need to wire it like a 5 wire system. If I follow the relay diagrams on this site will it be an easy conversion, or a pain?
Thank your for your help Velocity
It will be easy but running the wires will be a pain.

Just a note the first few remote starers I installed that had pass-lock they worked most of the time but sometimes did not.The cause was the ground. The instructions said for the ground use either a normal ground meaning grounding to the metal part of the vehicle or the pass-lock ground wire. What I found out always use the pass-lock ground wire.
