03 tiburon Remote start with manual trans

Ok  if anyone can help it would be nice.  i have a 03 tiburon and i just got a  black widow z5 alarm. i am looking to put in the remote start.  I do have a manual transmission.  this  alarm is set up to where it will not engage unless it goes through its safetys and that is the   parking brake has to be on and the  car has to be in neutral , or it will not engage. also i am being told my car has a imobileizer on it, that might be true, but i only have 2 copied keys and it starts up.   wiring diagrams for my car would help me. but i dont see anything about the imobileizer, so i am stuck on that part too.   if anyone have info they want to share please do thanks

Make sure you hookup the keysense wire.

You can use a key in a box type of bypass or   this one.

cool thanks,   but know after calling the factory and  they are saying i do not have a  imobileizer so i guess i dont have to by a  dei 556u module.  Other then that i am sure i can do this myself.   thanks for the daigram.

The directechs sheet say that you do need one, but they are not always correct. The easiest way to tell, is to do your install and try to start it. If it does not start, put your key in the ignition without turning it on and try again, if it starts with the key sitting in the ignition cylinder then you need a bypass. The second piece I listed does not require a key to be left in a box, it tells the vehicle that it has the right key via data.

Keep us posted, I would like to know if you need one or not for my own knowledge (to put in my notes for possible future Tiburon's).

The last tiburon i did, the tech sheet said it had immobilizer, but it didn't. Another cool thing about the tiburon is the factory remote doesn't have hatch release on it, but it is very easy to hook up to aftermarket, why they didn't do it is beyond me... the doorlocks are also a unique setup, open yellow wire for lock, ground for unlock. Pretty easy over all. good luck

yeah,  i have  sut keys so i dont think there is one,  the thing i am having a problem with is i have to bypass the clutch or put it in with a relay use. but i have no idea what wire that is and i look at a couple of diagrams and still have not had any luck.

To my knowledge there is no "clutch safety bypass" database. Your best bet is to look directly above the clutch and test the wires that are there. The majority I have come across have 2 wires running to them. You would use a relay triggered by the status output wire of the remote start providing either ground or +12V to the output side of the relay. You are simulating what the clutch safety switch does when the clutch is depressed. Use your meter to determine how the switch operates and duplicate it with the relay, triggering the relay by the remote start status output. Make sure you have hooked up the parking brake sense wire and have not bypassed ANY safety features of the system. Some units need to be put into manual transmission mode before they will operate, make sure that if your system requires this, that you do it.
