I installed a RS on a customers 04 hundai sonata and the trunk opens intermitantly when the unlock is pressed. my tech guy said the unlock duration is set too long, however his fix did nothing for me. any help is appreciated. the unit is a AEW / Accele RS80A and the lock/unlock are straight from the unit (no relays) thanks

Sounds like it could be a bad remote. Have the customer use their other remote for a while and see if it happens. Also you may want to try adding a relay off of the trunk output from the module, and/or using the other trunk release wire. (That vehicle has the negative wire at the ETACS, and the positive 5 wire should be in the kick) Good luck,
