I heard this and was wondering how much truth there is to it. Apparently, if you go to the Lexus Dealer because of a lost key situation, they will have to replace the computer in your car. Replacing the computer in your vehicle can cost up to $2500.00 for the parts, labor, programming and new keys.

As for as I know if there are not any keys left the Computer Module would have to be replace and code it with ne RFID keys , it is very expensive.

The reason I was asking is because I saw this : https://www.a-1mobilelockandkey.com/reflash.htm

300 bucks is better than 2500

You also get a key-number with the keys. If you give the dealers this key number, they can create a new key.
