I just installed the Compustar 2WSS-AS into my 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution MR, the problem is i cant get the turbo timer mode to work?

I DO have a few wires not hooked up, but the Ebrake wire and the brake wire are connected. i also went through the programming to activate turbo mode and the box on the remote is black. Is there anything i am missing? does the tachometer wire need to be connected? i dont have it connected right now because i dont want auto-start. any help would be great.

Yes, the tach wire needs to be connected.

If you list out all the wires you did connect I can tell you if you will need any more.
