if anyone has an impulse alarm, can you please help me, i have an impulse 990 but i need to know how to set all the settings to my preferences by the remote. i didn't recieve a manufactures instruction w/ my alarm, so that's why im asking. i need to know like:

- auto lock after remote start

- sound/no sound

- crank time

- auto lock after leaving car

stuff like that, can someone help me. thank you

- sound/no sound Turn the ignition switch to ON.... Press button # 2 four times in a row ( 1 second apart ) . The system will chirp (2 chirps ) Silent arm disabled (3 chirps ) Silent arm enabled.

- crank time DIP switch on harness side of module # 1 needs to be set to OFF for extended crank

- auto lock after leaving car DIP switch # 2 needs to be OFFto enable auto lock.

stuff like that, can someone help me. thank you

what is a DIP switch?

There are 4 ( maybe 5 ) little buttons on the side where the wire harness plugs into that you can switch between the ON and OFF positions. They are very small so you will need a pen or a small screwdriver to flip them over.
