Couldn't find a Viper 5000 system so here goes...

I want to install the Viper 791VX into my 1997 Honda Civic 5sp, but do NOT want the remote start. Will the rest of the alarm be functional without the remote start wired up? Thanks.

Hooking up a non-manual transmission remote start capable unit is not legal in a manual transmission.

Do not hook up the BLACK/ White wire in H3. This is the neutral safety input, if this wire does not see ground the system will not start.

just dont use the relay pack (XCRS 500m) but use the ribbon that contained the yellow wire. tap this line to an ignition. this wire is used for programming and other features for alarm.

use a single relay for starter-kill, then use the orange wire from primary harness to trigger the kill.
