I have a 98 dodge intrepid that has 2-12v sources.A red wire(20amps)and pink/black(40amps).I have 4 relays for my clifford alarm.1-lock relay,2-unlock relay,3-parking light relay, and 4-trunk release relay. Can i take 12v for these 4-relays from just the red wire? The reason why i ask is i also have the clifford intellistart4,and i was thinking of using the pink/black(40amps)to just power it..Also,since i'm using a relay for the trunk release,do i still need to install a 1amp diode inline on the wire from 30 to the trunk release wire on my intrepid? The manual says i need to install this diode because i have a trunk ajar indicator on my dash.

you should be able to.. as all will not be going together.. are these two wires ign wires..
if so split the 2 power wires for the intelistart to each one..

why have you a parking light relay.. what the clifford has one built in

Ahh you know what Powermyster, your right i didn't even notice it.Do i need to install a resistor or anything inline for the parking lights or do i just connect it directly to my parking light wire? And yes they are my ignition wires..

power the relays off the 40A wire..
connect the 2 white wires to a single parking light wire or wire them seperately for split parking light system
