Greetings All,
The car is a 1993 Buick Skylark Custom, V6, 3.3L engine.
The problem comes and goes (twice so far). It has a Prestige APS-95BT2 remote (not a remote starter, just door unlock and starter disable.)
Unlock the door with the transmitter, this also disarms the starter disable giving me x amount of time to turn the key and start the cat. Most times it works, but twice so far it has not disarmed the starter disable. Turn the key and nothing, no noises of any kind. The lights, radio and sah guages all work when this happens. The first time it happened, not knowing what could have gone wrong, I jump started the car. Happened again yesterday, let the car sit for about an hour, started right up. I had the battery tested at Auto Zone and it tested good. Had a recent tuneup, no problems there. I'm thinking maybe the starter disable relay may be going bad. Is there anyway to test this? Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Bruce

You can trigger the relay with a ground. relays are pretty cheap, I would probably just put in a new one. Make sure you check all connections while your in there......
