I am interested in being able to start a vehicle from a telephone.  The Prestige APS-996 instructions mention that the external trigger wire can be connected to a "POSSE/CAR-LINK" paging system.   I could not find anything on the WWW about it or on this forum.  Does anyone know anything about this?  If anyone can help me with this capability I would very much apprciate it.  I may have to resort to purchasing a pager, purchasing a subscription and installing the unit in the vehicle to sink a relay in order to provide the momentary ground pulse necessary to trigger the remote start.  Any information on that would be helpful too. I am sure I am not the first person to desire this kind of capability.  Long Range and or timers won't help me with the functionality that I desire.  I need to be able to dial a phone number and start the car.  Thank you in advance for any assistance you are able to provide.

I have a custom unit that was built as a remote starter/phone interface.  I can contact the engineer that put it together for me (if he is still around) .

Also, excalibur has one - I think I may still have one in stock - let you know tomorrow.
