I have a 1998 chevy silverado and I want to put in a hi tech 550 alarm and i'm unsure how to install the power door locks and the starter interupt also it hasna dome light option would this also work and how it has the pass lock 2 in it it also has horn honk option whatdo you suggest.

All of the information you require can be found right here on this site, from basic electronics to advanced relay applications. Just apply the information provide here with the wiring information provided in the installation manual and the wiring information for your 98 Chevy Pickup..

I would recommend a self learning type bypass, like a 556l, but others have reported no problems with a resistor based relay bypass.

i would bring it to a shop and have a pro do it. i could hook you u up i do some of the best installs on alarms super clean too
