I am installing a K9 Mundial 2 alarm in my 98 Mazda 626. I understand that it has a single wire doorlock system. The doors are unlocked when ground is directly applied to the wire and locked when grounded through a 1k resistor. Is a DLS system necessary for keyless entry? With a negative pulse wire for each, lock and unlock, can I simply install the 1k resistor on the lock wire only? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Sometimes you will need the DLS..........
But try hooking the Resitor directly to the Door Lock Plug first.
Also OMEGA makes a DLR-U that has the Relays & Resistors built in.....
