installed a RS in 02 montana the other day.  everything works fine.  one thing  the customer asked for is to be able to activate the sliding doors by remote.  the orginal factory remote has this capablity.  but i want to transfer its operations onto the RS remote(its a AS-1200) there are no swicthes in the vehicle itself.  i want to be able to use just realys. but don't think its possible.  the trunk output is just a pusle.  im think of using a simple 4-5 sec timer to activate them.(can one timer activate both doors)  does anyone know a simpler way, though.  Also is there any way to activate the horn upon lock and unlock.  the pusle from them is too long to acivate the horn through a relay. thanks for any  help indvance

The driver side power sliding door is lt. blue/black (-) in the driver kick panel in the harness going to the rear. The passenger side power sliding door is lt. blue (-) in the passenger kick panel in the harness going to the rear. Try to pulse this wire and see if the BCM takes over. You may not need a 4-5 second pulse timer if the BCM will activate the doors for you. You will nkow after you try this so make sure you have the pulse timer with you incase the test fails and you will need to install it .
