hey guys, I have recently had a weird noise pop up in my stereo system.  The noise is not a pop, but more of a long louder noise that fades.  It happens when I RS and when I get in the car, if I put my HU face on first and then turn the key into on, and step on the brake to turn RS off THATS when it makes the noise.  It is really weird, either it never did it before or I never noticed it.  If anybody can help me out I would appreciate it.

Try using a different ignition wire at the stereo or a different constant power wire. If you want you can also use a relay to filter out the ignition wire by wiring it so you can get a better ignition source from the battery.

85: GROUND

86: IGNITION wire from radio

87: Constant power wire from battery or ignition switch

30: To IGNITION wire on the radio

87a: NOT USED

This relay will give you a solid and undiluted switched power source.

interesting, yea I had changed the acc wire from the HU cause I thought it might fix it, but nope. I do have an extra relay here sitting next to my hand, so maybe I will try that.  Thanks a lot.  Any other ideas guys before I dig into wiring again???
