My 99 Mazda Millenia has a factory alarm/inmobilizer. Since it does not have keyless entry, I will like to install a factory keyless entry. I have not being able to get a straight answer from the local Mazda dealer on which components are needed for ths feature.

Help please!

Thanks.

Why do a factory unit?  Aftermarket are cheaper to buy and are cheaper to maintain.  As for the dealer part you should talk to a service manager and ask him specifically  to find out if your vehicle had a factory keyless entry system ( the parts counter will probably also be able to help you out on this, just have a copy of your vin number present ).  If it did ask them for some remotes and have them program them to the vehicle.  If it didn't then you will probably have to go aftermarket.

Any suggestions on an aftermarket keyless entry system that will allow me to continue use the factory alarm/inmobilizer? The reason why I will like to use the factory alarm is because of the inmobilizer.

Thanks for your response

I immobilizer is independent to your factory alarm. Most keyless entry units will have a disarm wire. If you are going to install a keyless entry though, you might as well go ahead and install a remote starter with keyless entry since starters are not so expensive these days. take a look at the Commando KE-30 for just a keyless entry model here:
https://www.commandocaralarms.com/itemdetails.asp?Productid=1189

Or if you want a starter and keyless entry look at the Commando Prostart 2300 here:

https://www.commandocaralarms.com/itemdetails.asp?Productid=495

This is a basic unit with a decent range and decent features. They also have some nicer and more expensive units. If you go with a starter as well, you will also need to buy a universal transponder bypass module called a Transmod, and it may take some time to install if it is your first, but it is not very difficult.

Either way you go though, you will need to buy a resistor and a relay for the keyless entry. A negative trigger through a 1K (1000 ohm) resistor will lock the doors and arm the factory security. Negative trigger on the same wire will unlock all doors and disarm the factory security. Test using the passengers door key cylinder switch with all doors closed.

You get a detailed wire diagram for your car when you purchase a unit from commandocaralarms.com, or you can view a less detailed one at bulldogsecurity.com.

All Millenias for that year came with keyless entry with alarms.  Go to KeylessRide.com and order new remotes and program yourself.  You can buy them from the dealer but they are too much money.  Again the vehicle has a keyless entry already.  They were standard for that year.

After some research I found that my car is wired for keyless entry, but it is missing some components.  On the driver's side, behind the rear passenger's seat, where the transmitter is located, there is a six pin conector with 4 wires.

The wire colors are: Blue/red stripe: Blue/white stripe; Yellow/black stripe; BLACK/ white stripe.

On the passenger's side, behind the rear passenger's seat there is a four pin connector. The wire colors are: Blue / YELLOW stripe (two of this wires are present); Yellow; Green.

There is a relay labeled "H300". The wire colors from the connector are: Purple; WHITE/ yellow stripe; BLACK / YELLOW stripe; BLACK/ blue stripe.

The is also another component. It is labeled with the following: R 175; [M] ; .47/250. it has a BLACK/ blue stripe wire connected to it.

Suggestions?

There is a relay labeled "Door Lock Relay". The wire colors from the connector are: Red; Brown; Blue/black stripe; RED / white stripe; WHITE/ green stripe; Black; Green; GREEN / WHITE stripe.
