Just joined the group and did my research here. Tried searching through google and the local forum search engine and got Vague results on what I would like to do.

So, I just got a DEI 519H convenience module I think that is what it is. I was not sure if the module get hooked up to my garage door swtich on the wall or if it gets hooked up in my car and then controls my garage door opener. I was hoping that I can connect it directly to my garage door switch instead so I can free up the garage door opener. Will I need a relay for this module as well?

If this is true, what gets connected to what on channel one output. Sorry for being the NEWBIE here, but any help would greatly be appreciated.

This is an image of what I got.

hooks up next to your garage door opener, plugs in using a power transformer. You program it to your remote for your car and it will activate it. no relay needed.

Thank you. I greatly appreciate the reply. When I use just channel one on the module, do I hook up only one wire from channel on eon the 519H module?
