Hi I installed my alarm a couple of years ago and recently got a tailgate lock and was going to install it to the "programmable output but had trouble making it work and was advised by someone here to just use the Gree and Blue wire and after trying to make it work the other way now it will not work at all (the power door locks) Now even the door locks will not work. The Pace Edwards tailgate lock I bought was not wired right for my application and I am afraid I might have screwed something up. I get a 12 volt pulse from both the green and Blue wires from my alarm but it will NOT actuate my locks I can here the relays click but not the locks.
Can anyone tell me how to test the alarm? Like I said it gets a 12 volt pulse when I lock/unlock I did change severak chirp settings when I first tried to hook up the Tail gate lock and I THINK I have them back to default is there a way to reset to default? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Oh sorry 99 Toy Tacoma but it is all after market I added the door locks and like I said it all worked perect for 2 years till I went to add the tailgate lock. If I need to replace my alarm what would you recomend I like the new ones with the LCD display on the remote. I think my problem is simple but I am just not seeing it.

Tailgate Lock should have been fairly simple to hook up.
Was there only 2 wires on the TG Lock?
Green for Lock & Blue for Unlock?
Also did it come with a Relay package?

Yes the relays were all wierd but wired wrong I now have them right I believe but like I said the locks that did work now do not ( dsoor locks)

By the way I have unhooked the tailgate lock I just want to get it back like it was before I started the last install option
