I tried to install my remote starter in my truck. The starter works but still can't get the door locks to work. I printed up the 5 wire diagram and have the relays wired correctly and have the wiring diagram for the truck.Found the door lock wires by the kick panel, the relay diagram shows wires going to the switch and the motor,I did not under stand!

When you cut the door lock wire, the switch side of the wire is the one coming from the door you should put this wire on 87a. The motor wire is the going to be the other side of the wire you cut put this to 30. You should have a fused (15 amp) power going to 87. Repeat this process for unlock. The lock wire should be ORANGE / violet and the unlock should be pink/violet. They will either be in the drivers kick panel or at the junction box under the dash. Also what ever type of trigger off of the alarm, most are negative, wire that to 85 of the relay. Then you should have the opposite polarity, probably positive, going to 86 of the relay.

Doesn't matter. I have done both and they have worked. It's easier to work with the wires between the switch and the motor in the door, but then you have to run the wires through the boot and into the cab. If you use the wires at the junction box, it's alot tighter there but still possible.
