Hi Guys,

This is my first post and i hope one of yous can help as im tearing my hair out here (not that i got much to tear lol) - Any ways I had the Clifford concept installed in my car about 4 months ago. Over the last couple of days i've been fighting to get the intellistart installed. I wired everything as it should be and double/triple checked everything. All seems to work fine. It will start (with the aid of a transponder bypass) and idea for the full 30 mins. Short stop works as does the manual safe start shutdown. Today when i drove the car to work. The engine kept stalling like the the clifford was imobilising the car whilst i was driving. The LED also flashed 10x (Power Tamper or Low Battery) also whilst i was driving. Over the space of driving 30 mins it must have done this about 20 times. so my question is have any of you had this problem before and if so what is the cure? I thought it might be the tach signal so i disconnected the wire but still the same. Unplugged the intellistart h1&h2 harness and everythings fine. the car goes fine (Its a late 2001(02 Plate) VW Golf IV PD 150). I've had the whole system out today and refitted it myself properly to no avail. The intellistart box has G5 written all over it and its from the US, My C300 is a UK and a G4. Could it be incompatible (i always believed the g5 were backward compatible). Any way if you can help or have any ideas please chime in.

Cheers

Barry

battery is fine, i did check that. The strange thing is whilst idleing it will run all day without trouble. only seems to be whilst moving. To me that would point to the been a fault with the clifford concept (bad wiring etc) but i re did everything and still the same. When i unplug the harnesses for the intellistart everything is fine again so that rules out the concept been bad i guess??

Regards

Barry
