Hi,
I am installing intellistart in a manual car (intellistart4 G5 & c300). First put it in a few days ago and managed to get it to remote start in automatic mode and also “shortstop”. Wasn’t able to try manual mode out as I did not have the correct remote to transmit channel 11 for “safestart” when you shut the engine down. I have now got a new remote that does transmit channel 11.
The problem is that when the car is running and I transmit channel 11 it should flash the indicators twice and then allow me to shutdown, however it will only flash once and wont allow me to leave the engine running and take the keys out. I thought I would also try it in automatic mode to see if it would still “shortstop” as it did before but it doesn’t.
Bonnet, door and handbrake sensors are all working well. Not 100% sure RPM is working as its wired straight into the Hondas RPM out but have had problems with Hondas RPM output before and don’t believe it gives a true negative of the coil.
I want to know what the one instead of two flashes means, must mean something but cant seem to find out.
the manual is wrong to begin with the wire that you earth for manual mode you actually do not connect for manaul mode.
what remote to you have
you don't need a radar remote to prime the system for starting later.
if its a 3 button remote you need the wizzard to program teh manual start button.. if its a 4 button the deefault is the 2 bottom buttons pressed together

Why oh Why didn't i take the blue pill

I know about the manual being wrong. Bloody thing!! THe blak/green wire is NOT connected to earth - meaning manual mode. I have this remote and can definitly transmit channel 11 - just want to know what the one flash rather than two means?

so what does the one flash mean i am experienceing the say exact problem it starts fine in auto mode but i cant get manual mode to work and i experience the one flash also and the manual makes no reference to one flash
