I am trying to install a valet 712T remote keyless entry system on a 1992 honda accord. The car has power door locks, and I have located the power door lock/unlock (BLACK/ white, BLACK/ red) wires under the carpet below the drivers kick panel. I do not know which wires on the valet system to connect to the cars lock/unlock wires. Please help.

Both violet and violet/black go to ground, the blue/black goes to the unlock wire and GREEN/ black goes to the lock wire. The BROWN / black and WHITE/ black wires are not needed.

Thanks for the help. The door locks are working. My air/heat lights flash when the valet arms/disarms, is this normal?

Yes it is. They are all tied into the same circuit that the parkinglight trigger is on. IT's not a big deal.

Thanks again. The Heater fan also comes on momentarily (if the fan switch is on) when arming/disarming. It seems weird, but I’ll get over it.

The heater fan coming on is definately a strange thing to be coming on. Does anything else come on when arming or disarming?

The heater fan and lights on the heat/air buttons are the only things that come on. I only have the door locks hooked up to the valet, no lights or horn.
