Wont this 515r siren drain the car battery because it recharges the siren battery of the 12v constant?

Yes it will.The only battery backup siren that doesn't drain the battery is the clifford smartsiren.It only charges the battery when the vehicle is running.

Well Bigman it does it's job.In my opinion you would be better off getting a battery backup battery for your entire system,not just a battery backup siren.
