Hello all. Before I jump into my question, I want to say I have the upmost respect for all you pros out there lending a helping hand. " It does not go unappreciated "

I will be having 2  791xv's installed on a 99' (new body) GMC Sierra and a 99' Honda Civic LX next week. I wil have the retailers hook up the 2nd status/ defogger output wire to the defrost wire in both vehicles. Correct if i'm wrong, I believe the GMC defrost wire is WHITE and the Honda defrost wire is YELLOW / BLUE. Please let me know if I have the correct wires? Both wires will need a relay..Correct?  My last question is where is the best place to tap into these wires under the dash.

Thanks in advance,

Dimen 9100

I don't know the wire colors on either car.......but my general method is to turn the defroster on and off while listening for clicks......find the item that clicks......then test all the wires coming out of it.

The honda defrost wire is in a blue plug on top of the fuse box. You have the correct color. POS(+) trigger

The GMC is NEG(-) at the switch. white wire
