looking for a new alarm , was going to go with the viper lcd remote start , for a 180 , but i found a code alarm ..CODE ALARM CA670 LCD 2-way remote start no master module needed , for 139 , so anyone familar with this one ??? or does some one else know of a better pageing lcd model in the same or cheaper price range ?? any links would be cool . thanks ahead guys/girls .

Alot of people hate the Code Alarm stuff but I like alot. I've installed many of these systems and they will do just about anything you need or want it to do. Built in starter kill, pos or neg locks, aux channels for running rear def., windows...the list goes on. The viper 791 has a big advantage when it comes to range, but that's up to you to decide how much range you need. Also, Code Alarm will give lifetime warranty to a DIY'er, DEI only gives warranty if installed by an authorized dealer. Hope this helps.
