Bypasskits.com has all the answers you are looking for. Our shop has used them for 3 years now, but I won't lie and say we haven't had issues. The only problem we have had is glitches with how the bypasses work until the second or third version comes out, then they are reliable. We still use them, and I can vouch that all the recommendations they show for the vehicles on your list do work well, except for the 07's just because i haven't done them yet.

I've used them for the past 4-5 years as well and they are good as well. Some bugs in their newer technologies but with the new iData that has come out, I'm steering towards getting them instead as it's only 4-6 SKU's for 8+ vehicle manufacturer's ! That in my mind is a smart choice

the second group use pk3 plus. you can use a universla bypass like the 556u or the audiovox as-tcbm and a key. there is no need for you to use a passlock  module in conjunction with these.

also in the first group you listed that the equinox was a modified passlock2 system? that is incorrect. it is a standard pk 2 system. yellow for r code and orange black for referance ground. if you have any security questions realted  to gm feel free to send me a message and i will give you my number.  i work for gm so i have access to all kinds of goodies

i think your overgeneralizing may tend to confuse people... the Canyon/Colorado use the same PLII circuit originally introduced on the Ion..... which is different from the "standard" PL II circuit used on Cavy's, Sunfires, CK/ST Trucks etc, etc for years.....
