Hi All,

Been following the last few posts on this and I have ordered a 324T and IPPME for my 2001 Chev Cavalier.  I made note of all the posts and think I have a good idea on how to hook this puppy up.  Only Question I have is on the Starter Inturrupt relay.  I do not have one and was wondering what is the purpose of that function?  All I want for the car is to start remotely (I do not have power locks so that function is moot) and to be able to shut it off if I have to via remote or the 20 min timeout.  Is this starter relay or is that wire required to be hooked up to have this function?

The start interrupt relay is an additional relay that you install between the starter wire if you want to have an anti-grind feature. It is not necessary, but it will prevent you from grinding the starter if you turn the key to the crank position after it has been remotely started.
