Hey guys, got a little wiring question..... I have installed many DEI products, but this is my first compustart unit...

Off the main harness, I have a few wires I am unsure of...

The Green / Red (actually 2 seperate wires from the same Pin in the CN1 harness) says they are for ignition. how are these suposed to be wired. I am installing into a car with a 2nd ignition, but I thought the pre-wired relay was for second ign, acc, or starter? and the other one is the red / white wire, how do I wire this for the second ignition option?

now for the 2 relays...

on the first relay I have a violet, and blue wire. how do I wire this for a 2nd ing?

and the sond relay (the starter kill - anit grid) there is a yellow, and yellow black. I am used to cutting the starter wire, and wiring those up, but which is the key side and which is the starter side??

thanks for your help guys.... I guess I was just spoiled by the DEI install manuals.... heh heh

regards,

ok, I hate to keep posting like this, but I can't seem to edit my posts...

Is this correct.... I would wire either the (-) starter, (-) acc, or (-) ignition outputs from the CN2 harness to the violet wire, to activate that signal on the blue wire?

pin 87 of the relay gets 12v constant........pin 30 get's  acc. starter or  ign.

look for the pin posistion's on this site

so using the wiring from the compustar brain unit, Pin 86 would get 12v constant as well, and pin 85 would get the (-) ignition, to produce ignition on pin 30.... correct?

The GREEN goes to the ignition at the ignition harness on the car. THe other red wire is suppose to go to a relay.

Purple wire goes to the CN2 harness for one of the 2nd device ( IGN, ACC or STARTER ) and the BLUE wire goes to the 2nd device wire on the vehicle.

YELLOW goes to the starter and YELLOW/BLACK goes to the key side
