I was just wondering how many installers here prefer to either install the led or not install the led.I was wondering if there is no visual sight of a aftermarket alarm then the element of surprise would be a lil better.Or on the other hand,if there is a visual led,the thief might just go pick another vehicle..

I've got the clifford led and the dei EL Luminescent indicator and was just wondering wether to install both or just the led and sell the EL indicator, since it doesn't report status,it just flashes..I've heard of people not installing so i figured i would just ask..

Back before I could afford the alarm I wanted I rigged up a couple of flashing leds that were on when the ingnition was off just for visual theft deterance. If the criminal thinks you have an alarm it might make them think twice about messing with your vehicle.

Yeah like Murph said i'm gonna install both.I'm trying to decide where to mount the clifford led.Either in the middle of the dash,or in the middle of the center console. As we all know, the clifford line led's aren't small...
