Hey

I have an Excalibur AL-900jx car alarm and am instaling it in a vauxhall chevette. I have it all sussed except for 3 wires, on the alarm module one is labelled '12 volt output to parking lights', and the other 2 are labelled 'Input or output to parking lights'. Where do I hook up these wires and isn't it normally the hazard lights that flash when alarm is operated?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

It is indeed the parking lights that flash when the alarm is operated.  The parking lights may be turned on either with a negative or with 12v, depending on the car and/or where you connect it.

The parking light input wire must be connected to the  polarity that you will be using to turn on the park lights.

The output must be connected  to turn on the park lights.
