I have an '03 Tundra Access Cab. I am debating on which security/remote start system to get. I have looked at many and decided I want the top of the line. I want to have window control whether it is built in or a add-on. So far I'm deciding between the Viper 791XV, Compustar 2WSS-AS, Clifford 3.5, or the UNGO SR6000. I am definantly open for suggestions. Anyone that has any of these systems please let me know how they perform (range, reliabilty, features, anything else informational). Also is it very hard to CORRECTLY install yourself? One last thing, what are some of the things you all have connected to your auxillary outputs besides trunk (truck=no truck)

In the selection you have,i would go with either the Compustar or the clifford.The viper 791xv is a great model,but from what i've heard,the remote eats batteries for breakfast,and they've been having problems with it..

the clifford's top model and the viper 791 XV are the EXACT same thing the only difference in the casing of the remote is carbob fiber look in the clifford.

I am a Clifford guy myself, love the reliability. I have an Avantguard 5 with the remote start in both my toyota pick up and honda accord. Lots of great features, extra channels and again, the reliability of it is great. As far as installing one yourself, well that all depends on if you have done alarms before or not. Some parts can get tricky so being patient is a must. As for what you can wire your extra channels to do, well if you can think of it, and extra channel will do what ever you want it to, given the proper knowledge or help. In the old days I had an alarm turn on my truck without a start module. Not the greatest thing for the engine but it worked. But as you will figure out, the sky is the limit.

thanx for all your input. What about the range of the Clifford? and would the range be the same if not better in Cliffords top model somthin 3.5
