hi

anyone know where i can get this in the united states. these are all over europe and seem very nice  it uses sms / text message to send and receive commands.  why has dei decided not to push this unit in america

i dont know but that system is tight. it sounds real good. whats up dei bring it to the states.

here is a write up for all those unaware:

Clifford CallGuard 2 
The CallGuard unit is a universal GSM control and monitoring system. All commands and reporting are done via SMS text messages. The system is worldwide compatible working with all GSM 900/1800 Mhz networks and optional 850/1900 MHz networks. Both “Pay As You Go” and contract SIM cards can be used. The system is extremely flexible and can used as standalone system or integrated to operate an OE or aftermarket alarm / keyless entry system. The CallGuard 2 has the ability to activate accessories and/or other systems by sending a SMS message to the unit. Features include 5 controllable outputs via SMS; 6 reportable inputs; all outputs have short circuit and current protection; 4 digit programmable PIN protection for all commands; Programming completed by SMS commands; Takes any SIM card – Pay As You Go or contract (not supplied); Will work on any network; Onboard status LED; Can control central locking, electric windows, engine starting; Can be interfaced with OE car alarm or operate as stand alone unit; Reports and alerts owner when battery voltage when below 10.5v; Can report warn-away if dual-zone sensor are used; User selectable report options; Extremely compact

that item can be gotten but it will cost close to 500 bucks but it is pretty sweet.

ok where can i get this i have 2 cars with ag4s and a bike with a gp500 but none have pagers or 2 ways responders
