After digging through my car I found a great place to mount the brain of my 2W900FM except that it'll be about 12" lateral of the sub porting on my stealthbox.  Is there any chance the electronics in the brain could get damaged from vibration and sound pressure?  Should I wrap it in insulation, find a new place, or will it be fine on its own?  Thanks for the help.

the only rime a device really gets damaged is when it is mounted directly to the box. i have never seen nor heard of a device getting damaged being close to the box.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

Thanks a bunch for the reply.  I'll go ahead and use this mounting location.  My alarm should come in the mail today.
