I searched and found a little information. Need clarification.
My Viper alarm does not have outputs for arming/disarming a factory alarm.

So, I was thinking of hooking up:
Viper (-) door lock to WHITE/ RED factory Rearm
Viper (-) door unlock to WHITE factory Disarm

Would it work? When the Viper system arms it locks the doors and arms the factory alarm. When the Viper system disarms it unlocks the door and disarms the factory alarm.

I want to retain the factory immobilizer and blinking dash light. Oh ya, diodes on all four wires (lock/unlock, arm/disarm)

Let me know. Thanks.

On a RSX forum, I was told that simply lock/unlock will arm/disarm the factory alarm without the need for additional connections... I am going try that first. If it doesn't work, then I will do as suggested.
