Hey I'm helping another installer over the phone and he has a customer that is coming in later today.  He's having a problem with an 05 nissan titan the factory alarm no longer arms and disarms.  Which I guess is a problem for the customer.  Directechs says arm/disarm with lock/unlock using module in door.  He's got that, however still no arm/disarm.  Anyone else run into this problem?

When the customer drops off the car I told him to call me.  I'm going to run through all the wires with him at the module in the door and see if we can't find a wire that we might be missing.

Maybe the truck never had a factory alarm. Have him test that first. Roll down window....close doors....lock door with key...wait 30 seconds...reach in and open door.

Other possibilties....valet mode?? I don't even know if a Nissan factory alarm has that option. Check the truck's owners manual.
