Anyone know where to find the door dome light trigger wires on a 1999 pontiac sunfire? I need a positive and a negative, the postive shows 12+ volts only when the door is open. Any ideas?
There the only wires I can't find...
The GREEN/ black is located in the lower drivers kick panel. It catches the drivers door only. The light blue is located in the lower passenger kick panel, and catches the passenger door(s). This is a (-) trigger system. Why do you need a (+) & (-) ?

The remote starter claims it needs "a wire that shows ground when the door is open" and a wire that shows "+12v when open" i guess i could just use the chassis?
these kick panels, are they literally panels? like the "end caps" on the dash? or are they the trim piece that runs along the floor of the door frame to the dash? And is ths wire grouped with a harness or singular.
I have 2 quick things to verify...
1) I was looking for my "parking lights wire" (shows +12v when parking lights are on) The wiring diagram said it was brown and near the light switch... there are about four wires at the light switch, one is in fact brown, but none of them show anything more then a volt or two when the lights are turned on or off. Near the pedals on the firewall theres a large harness, I tested all the brown wires until I found one that shows +10.44v when the lights are on and 0.00v when they are off. It is a larger gauged wire, similiar in size to a starter wire or ignition wire. Does this sound like the "parking lights wire"?
2) I went under the hood to find my tach wire, the wiring diagram claims its violet/white and can be found in "Pin 8 of Blue PCM Connector Passenger's Kick Panel " I don't know where the "kick panels" are and I could't see any violet/white wires around the passengers side, so I went further down the line to what I believe to be the coil. I was told by someone in a different topic that the tach wire would be white off the coil, but I seen a violet/white one and routed a new wire through the firewall from it. My question is, obviously, is this the right wire?? or is it the white one? Is there a way to test? please respond, with this information I can finally be done with this headache.
