i have a problem with this car cranking and what i did was bypass the vats with the right resistance and it worked a few times, i wonder if the problem lies with the cylinder of the car and not the vats system, has anyone delt with this at all?

even bypassing the clutch and with the ignition on triggering the starter relay, it will crank but no fire......so i think the problem is vats, crappy though the car was fine before we did the stereo.

HELP

is the security light flashing or turning on when you try to start it?

Yeah, what jhull said.

Flashing security light: VATS malfunction.

Non-flashing light: VATS okay; problem is something else.
