I'm installing a Prestige Platinum APS-997 on a 2004 Caddy CTS.  I have never worked on this car before and wanted to get some general tips (do's and Don't s).  Let me know what your experience was.....  Is it best to use the DEI 457 GW? etc....etc.

Thanks in advance.

The best kit to fit in this vehicle is the GM - SL, it control the heat seat, and many functions in the vehicle.

The 457GW is a disappointment.

It is missing many key features, such as driver's-priority unlocking, and it doesn't turn on the domelight when you unlock.

I would recommend anything from Trilogix, at bypasskit.com. The GM-DLBP is an excellent piece, but I'm not sure if it works on your car.

We have had less than desireable results on the CTS using the GMBP / GMDLBP. I usually choose the sure thing on this car and go with a key in the box. Pretty straight forward install aside from having to grab the brake under the rear seat. And if the OEM alarm falses you may need to hit the keysense wire in addition to the disarm wire in the door.
