I'm installing a Commando fm-870 remote start/alarm on my friend's 2004 ford f150 new body style truck. It's the extended cab pickup, Lariat edition with the 2 full size doors and 2 small doors that must be closed before the driver and passenger door can be closed.  The alarm isn't recognizing the door triggers, no matter what I do. I wired up the diodes based what the diagram I saw on here says, with 1N4001 diodes. It the triggers are negative on the truck, it has that BCM module also.

What do I need to do to make the alarm see the door triggers?

Right now, it doesn't find the door triggers. If I arm the alarm and touch the green door trigger input wire from the alarm onto either of the door trigger wires on the truck, the alarm goes off.

The door triggers that I installed diodes on are driver side: blk/ yellow  and passengers side: blk/pink

I have diodes on them, with the band on the diodes going towards the door triggers from the BCM.

I also installed diodes on the 2 wires going to the hood pin, the WHITE/ black and the blue wire, with a 1N4001 diode and the band facing towards the hood pin. The alarm is recognizing the hood pin correctly, just not the door triggers.

I'm using a Peripheral PPKF3 PATS bypass, which is programmed correctly, but due to the door triggers, its not able to start the truck. It goes through all the steps to start the truck, and then aborts the remote start, and flashes the door on the 2 way pager, meaning a door is open when it should be and is closed.

What is the voltage on the door trigger wire at the alarm CPU when a door is OPEN and when it is CLOSED? It may be showing a weak ground when closed. Possible fix would be to add a relay before the alarm.

I don't recomend using the "one wire" method, you can shut that wire off at the light switch by turning OFF your dome light. = no door trigger.

Use the 4 individual wires (actually you only need the 2 front doors)
