Just purchased a commando rs-560 and installed all of the alarm and power lock features. Alarm and power locks work great, but when I installed the remote start feature I get nothing? I installed the wiring for the starter output, two 12v inputs, ignition output 1, there is no ignition output 2, and the heater/acc output.  I haven't installed anything for the tach signal, brake switch out door pin triggers. When I press start on the remote nothing happens? Do I need to install the other wires, I was told it should start without installing the other wires yet. I tested the wire from the module to the starter output and when I press the start button I don't see any voltage? Any suggestions?

Yes, you need brake and tach both hooked up. Brake is easy, tach could take some experimenting depending on your alarm and car.
