I have a Silencer 6904a alarm on a S14 240sx. On occasion ( once or twice in two weeks) I will be driving down the road and get a random beep beeeeeeep completely at random so to avoid angry people and possible embarassment ( last time it happened someone i knew was walking down the road so i just waved like it was on purpose so i got lucky) I just pull the fuses for the alarm system when it happens. The horn works fine as it is. I know it is something to do with the alarm. seems like a trippin out relay or something. any ideas? thanks
it also randomly switches to valet mode, is there anyway to set it back to normal without the special plug switch that its supposed to have for toggling valet on and off?
try looking at the wiring or something. maybe a wire is exposed and a wire is being grounded or something.and if in valet mode, i thought the horn/siren should be offor the brain could be messed up completely

the most important questiton might just be . did u wiz off the person that installed it for you? cuz i here people like to mess with peoples horns
.

bring back the rotary phone so i dont have to press 1 to proceed in english
it goes in and out of valet mode at random after i do work on the car, i dont know if its having the door open so long, the batt. disconnected or what but I think i got the valet problem worked out. i will have to check the wiring, theres not much for it to ground out to with its location other than a ground wire but i'll check it out, anymore ideas? thanks for the suggestions guys

Do you mean you mess with people horn when they wiz you off? What do they do anyways?
Anyways, there could be wire touching each other or the ground accidently. Like if there are wire from the brain not being used, but not taped up properly, they could be touching one another causing the brain to freak out. long ago an installer didnt tape up the wire he wasnt using (like instant trigger or positive door trigger, he just cut it but didnt tape it) so when the person was driving the wire was touch ground or each other causing the alarm to sound
Dont know if this is the same problem
sounds like you have a bad brain rip it out and start over.
