am i going to need a relay module for the door locks on my 99 suburban. i had the valet remote start installed a few years ago and they did not hook up the door locks. i recently installed a remote start on my 96 ram and need to know if i am going to have to get a relay for the remote starter in order to make the doors work

I dont even know if you tried the search for you vehichle diagram or what, but if you didnt learn to use it next time

POWER LOCK        LIGHT BLUE (TYPE A)        IN EITHER DOOR HARNESS
POWER UNLOCK       WHITE (TYPE A)       IN EITHER DOOR HARNESS
This means it needs positive pulse. I know that the old Valet (assuming this is the brand by dei) had only neg lock/unlock output. The installer was too lazy to wire up a positive relay. neg to pos

POWER UNLOCK       PINK/VIOLET (TYPE C)       @ LIGHT BLUE Plug in DRIVERS KICK PANEL
Type C means 5 wire reversing like this

i did  do the search but came up empty... so i figured i would post a new topic. i found the wiring diagram an also my ram has been finished for about 3 months...it was pretty easy, all i was wondering was if i had to use dei part 451m to do the door locks on my suburban and yes i have to no that i see that it is circuit type a
